Changing your Spark Driver™ app settings
App settings
App settings, such as notifications and permissions, can be reviewed and updated in the Settings menu on your device.
You can set up your Spark Driver™ app settings to manage permissions for:
- Location: Setting the Location to Always allows the Spark Driver app to access your location even when the app runs in the background. This helps show offers available near your location.
- Camera: Keeping Camera enabled allows access to your camera when you need to take a photo of the order as proof of delivery or to complete identity verification selfies.
- Notifications: Keeping Allow Notifications enabled allows you to see trip-related updates.
- Background App Refresh: Keeping Background App Refresh enabled allows the app to stay up to date when you're not actively using it.
- Cellular Data: Keeping Cellular Data enabled allows the app to use your device’s cellular data when you’re not connected to Wi-Fi.
Update app settings
If you’d like to customize your settings within the Spark Driver app, you can:
- Tap More (iOS) or Menu (Android).
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Communications Preferences and scroll down to the Spark Driver app notifications section.
- Tap ON/OFF next to Push notifications to open the Spark Driver Settings screen.
After opening the Spark Driver Settings screen, you can change any available settings for the app on your device.
