Delivering on the Spark Driver™ app
Ready to deliver an order?
Here are some suggestions to help you use the Spark Driver™ app during a delivery.
- The NAVIGATE arrow opens your preferred navigation app and provides directions to the customer's location.
- When you arrive, you can slide the AT DROP-OFF LOCATION bar to confirm your arrival.
- When prompted, scanning the order label(s) will help you confirm that you're dropping off the correct order at the right location.
- For no-contact deliveries, taking a photo of the order helps confirm proof of delivery and shows the customer where you left the order. Customers appreciate when photos show:
- the order and location or surrounding area it was left in (for example, the home or apartment number).
- the company logo or order sticker.
- no visible customer faces or pets, for privacy.
- If the order requires a signature, you will be prompted to ask the customer to sign for their items before completing the delivery.
- After completing the drop-off prompts, you can slide the CONFIRM DROP-OFF bar to finalize the delivery.
Orders that require a customer passcode
The app may prompt you to enter the passcode from the customer during drop-off. This passcode can be provided by the customer or by someone else on their behalf at the time of delivery.
Once the correct passcode is entered on the app, you can slide COMPLETE DROP-OFF.
What if the customer cannot locate the passcode?
Customers usually receive the one-time passcode by email, text, or in the Walmart app.
- If they are unable to find the passcode or if the number is incorrect, they can contact Walmart Customer Care at 1-800-925-6278.
- If the passcode can’t be verified or no one is available to provide it, you can return the entire order to the store following the in-app prompts.
