How can I check if my driver's license is a REAL ID?
How can I obtain a REAL ID if I don't have one?
You can also visit the Department of Homeland Security, locate the REAL ID interactive map, and select a state for detailed instructions.

What if I don't upload or obtain a REAL ID?
Note: The Real ID-compliant driver's license (or Social Security Card) will be uploaded in-app, not through your driver profile.

Expired Auto Insurance
If your auto insurance has expired, you won't be able to turn on Spark Now until you update your profile with valid insurance policy information. You can update your insurance information by taking these steps:
- Log in to your Spark Driver profile.
- You will see a notification at the top of your screen that says your auto insurance is expired. You can tap Upload to add proof of your current auto insurance.
- Tapping the Upload a Photo button will allow you to provide an image of your insurance policy.
- You can upload an image from your photo library, take a new photo, or upload a file from your mobile device.
- When you have successfully uploaded your updated auto insurance, you can add the insurance expiration date and tap Submit.
- Tapping Submit will bring you to a confirmation screen explaining that your auto insurance policy document was uploaded and is pending verification.
- If approved, you will receive confirmation via text and email that your proof of auto insurance has been accepted. Your access to Spark Now will also be restored after approval.
