You must be 18 years of age or older to complete deliveries on the Spark Driver platform.

Yes, passengers that are old enough to be left alone in a car can be present during deliveries, but they cannot participate in shopping or delivery for orders.

Yes. Orders must be kept free from contamination, including by pets or pet hair. Walmart may refuse to provide orders if vehicles do not meet vehicle standards. Only service animals are allowed in stores.

No, you may only create one Spark Driver account. Also, sharing accounts with multiple drivers is prohibited.

Yes, you can change your zone within the app. However, you can only change your original zone after completing your first 3 trips in the zone selected during enrollment.

Yes, you can add a preferred name to your account during the onboarding process.

A preferred name may be different than your legal name. This is the name that will display across the Spark Driver app.

To change, add, or remove your optional preferred first name after the onboarding process, you can:

  1. tap More (iOS) or Menu (Android).
  2. tap Account.
  3. tap Personal Details.
  4. tap Name.
  5. tap Preferred Name.
  6. follow the onscreen prompts to complete the process.

Note: A preferred name is enabled so that you can be addressed by the name you wish to be called. There are some limits and community standards. Names cannot contain profanity, celebrity names, or unprofessional language.

Yes. To update your legal name you can:

  1. tap More (iOS) or Menu (Android).
  2. tap Account.
  3. tap Personal Details.
  4. tap Name.
  5. tap Legal Name.
  6. follow the in-app prompts to update.

The photo you take during your enrollment will be your first profile photo in the app. You can change your profile photo once every 90 days.

To change your profile photo, you can:

  1. tap More (iOS) or Menu (Android).
  2. tap your profile photo in the top-left corner.
  3. tap UPDATE PHOTO.
    • If you updated your photo less than 90 days ago, you won't see the UPDATE PHOTO button.
  4. follow the in-app prompts to update.

Note: Photos with inappropriate or offensive content (like nudity or rude hand gestures) will be rejected and can lead to deactivation.

The Spark Driver Contract and App Terms of Use require you to:

  • have a mobile phone number with the U.S. country code +1 followed by ten digits.
  • have a mobile device with camera and GPS capabilities.
  • not use VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) or VPN (Virtual Private Network) when accessing the Spark Driver platform.

Yes. Proof of auto insurance is collected as part of your enrollment onto the Spark Driver platform. Proof of valid auto insurance is needed for each vehicle you'll use, which includes: your name used during enrollment, expiration date, and vehicle information. Details on the auto insurance document should be clear, not cropped or cut off, and right-side up.

When you agree to the Spark Driver Contract and App Terms of Use, you agree that a weapon will not be visible in your vehicle while performing services with the Spark Driver app. You can find the Terms of Use in the Spark Driver app.

If you’d like to delete your Spark Driver app account, you can:

  1. tap More (iOS) or Menu (Android).
  2. tap Settings.
  3. tap Manage Account.
  4. tap Delete account.

Please note, you’ll be permanently removed from the Spark Driver platform*. You’ll lose access to all data, including incentives, metrics, and trip details.
